In keeping with our dedication to our community, we provide a sliding scale for all of our workshops – ensuring that no person will miss out due to finances. Limited spaces are available for TimeBank hours + cost of materials.   In keeping with our dedication to the environment, we also offer discounts for carpooling.

Soap Making Workshop – Riverview @ The Enchanted Glen

Come learn all about soap, a brief history, science and how to make cold process, castile soap.
As a participant, you will make your own custom soap using natural additives for color, skin conditioning and aroma of your choice.

All supplies and materials are provided. You get to make and take home your very own batch of soap (approx. 14 bars of soap), reusable soap mold and a custom recipe created by you.

Making your own natural soap is a great hobby and makes for wonderful custom gifts that can also be helpful in treating skin conditions.

This is a workshop for ages 12 and up. (Teens must be accompanied by an adult) as we will be working with caustic chemicals.

Space is limited! You may select to pay at the door, however advanced registration required!

*For safety and hygiene reasons you are required to bring your own safety goggles. You may also wish to bring rubber/latex gloves.
