The Master Food Preserver Program is the newest extension in our education, skill enhancement and food preservation efforts. This 11 week course makes an impact by teaching safe food preservation methods in local communities, sharing knowledge about preserving fresh and healthy produce, preventing botulism in home canning and promoting research-based methods of food handling and food preparation. This empowers individuals within our communities with the skills knowledge, tools and confidence to tap into local capacity through hands-on training.
